Summarize the points and determine the point index. When its value is less than 8 points, hernioplasty due to local tissues is indicated. From 8 to 15 points, hernioplasty by a synthetic implant is indicated with, in the postoperative period, starting from the 6^th day, the daily electrical stimulation of the left and right rectus muscles in the amount of 10 sessions. More than 15 points, hernioplasty with a synthetic implant, and then synchronous Z-shaped fasciotomy of the fascial sleeve of the left and right rectus abdominis muscles with the length of each incision comprising the letter "Z" of 2.0 cm.

EFFECT: method allows to unify the indications for the choice of treatment tactics for patients with ventral hernia of the middle localization, to improve the results and increase the effectiveness of treatment, to reduce the number of complications due to the assessment of the complex of the most significant criteria.
