FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental oncology and can be used to stimulate chronic pain of malignant growth in the lungs of rats. 2 weeks before tumor transplantation, is created a model of chronic pain by bandaging the sciatic nerves on both sides. Inoculation is carried out by introducing into the subclavian vein a suspension of tumor cells of sarcoma M1 in physiological solution in a volume of 0.5 ml and at a dilution of 1:10. Results of the experiment are assessed 1.5–2 months after tumor inoculation.
EFFECT: method provides an effective model of a malignant process in the lungs with high reproducibility due to the additional effect of chronic pain during the transplantation of tumor cells.
