FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to experimental oncology, and can be used to stimulate the oncological process by modifying the carcinogenesis of diabetes mellitus. The method for stimulating hematogenous dissemination of carcinoma in the experiment is that in female nonlinear rats at the age of 3.5-4 months diabetes mellitus (DM) is induced by a single intraperitoneal injection of alloxan at a dose of 150 mg/kg of body weight. After 1 week, against the background of a consistently high level of glucose in the blood, the rats are inoculated with Guerin's carcinoma by injecting tumor suspension under the skin of the right scapula in a volume of 0.5 ml and diluting in physiological solution 1:5.
EFFECT: invention can serve as a model for studying the role of diabetes mellitus in the pathogenesis of malignant growth, as well as for finding ways of drug treatment of this pathology; the method is economical and affordable.
