FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the small-sized atomic cells with alkali metal atoms vapors production methods, and can be used during the quantum sensors and various application devices manufacturing. Method consists in the fact that, making the cells blanks by the long glass tube cutting, making the first hole offset to one of the working ends, making the second hole, which diameter is smaller than the first hole diameter, welding the cylindrical cross-section tubes sections with windows during the parts to be welded rotation around their axis of symmetry, annealing the cells in the furnace, placing cells in the vacuum chamber in the carousel sockets, evacuating the vacuum system, in vacuum performing the degassing by the cells heat treating and the cells filling with vapors of alkali metal atoms through the larger opening, filling the working chamber with inert gas, melting the feed opening in the inert gas environment using the CO2-laser radiation, evacuating the working chamber and gases from the cell, including released during the larger hole melting impurity gases, performing the buffer gases working pressures input and performing the cell final sealing, by melting the cell body smaller opening.
EFFECT: invention enables increase in the cells quality and characteristics, and reduction in the possibility of harmful impurities entry into the cell volume.
