SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medical equipment. Device is mounted on a platform which is movably aligned with the axial connection with the case having supports aligned with the axes of the drums, covered by the conveyor belt. Case is provided with a cover with transparent side walls. Mirrors that are fixed in the frontal plane with orientation of the axes of the front and rear drums, and bounding gaps above the web of transport tape, are placed in the cavity of the lid with counter-reflecting surfaces. Device is equipped with a rotameter system for changing the oxygen concentration of the gas mixture, tensioning means of the transport tape, an asynchronous electric motor with a gearbox and a speed regulator, a jack between the platform and the free edge of the body and a tank for collecting urine and feces of the animal.

EFFECT: proposed device for simulating physical activity in small laboratory animals without and with the hypoxia.
