FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method for separating an unvulcanized rubber mixture from a metal cord. Technical result is achieved by the method of separating the unvulcanized rubber mixture from the metal cord in a rubber product containing rubberized metal cord, while maintaining the physical and mechanical properties of the primary rubber mixture. Method includes the impact in a closed chamber on the rubber product with a water jet under a pressure of 500–3,000 bar with a flow rate higher than 15 l/min.
EFFECT: technical result is to improve the quality of separation of materials, reduce equipment wear, reduce energy costs and increase safety for the environment.
