SUBSTANCE: invention relates to video decoding. Offset adjustment method for decoding the video comprises the steps of: extracting the offset fusion information of the current largest coding unit (LCU) from among the LCU video from the bitstream, the offset fusion information indicates whether the second LCU is related to the second offset parameter relative to the current LCU to determine the first offset parameter of the current LCU, while the adjacent LCU is the left LCU or the upper LCU of the current LCU; and adjust the pixel values of the recovered pixels in the current LCU using the first offset parameter; while extracting the first offset parameter of the current LCU from the bitstream and determining the first offset parameter, the first offset parameter includes the offset type, the absolute values of the offset values and the offset class of the current LCU, with the type of offset indicating the type of edge offset or type of band offset.

EFFECT: ensuring minimization of error when restoring the image by adjusting of the offset.
