where: m is 1 or 2; p is 0 or 1; q is 0 or 1; W is C or N; Z is CH2, N or O; Y is O, S or CH2; X1 and X2 are saturated hydrocarbon groups, which together contain a total of five to nine carbon atoms and which are bonded in such a way that the moiety: forms a bridged bicyclic ring system; R1 may be H, C1-6 alkyl group optionally substituted with 1 to 3 fluorine atoms, or CH2-Wa, where is Wa is a 6-membered aryl ring or pyridyl ring; R2 can independently be H, C1-6 alkyl group optionally substituted with 1 to 3 fluorine atoms, or CH2-Wa, where Wa is a 6-membered aryl ring or pyridyl ring; R3 can independently be H, OH or C1-6 alkyl group where one carbon atom is optionally substituted with a heteroatom selected from O; R4 may be H, optionally substituted C1-5 alkyl or C1-5 alkynyl, wherein the optional substituent is one fluorine atom; and if Z is O, R3 represents H or its pharmaceutically acceptable salt, which are agonists of the muscarinic receptor M1.
EFFECT: treatment of Alzheimer's Disease, schizoprenia, cognitive disorders and other diseases mediated by the muscarinic M1/M4 receptors, as well as the treatment or alleviation of pain.
