FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biology and medicine, and is intended for the express DNA extraction from unfrozen blood. 2 ml of whole venous blood is collected in tubes containing EDTA-K3. Samples are frozen at -25 °C for storage. On the day of DNA extraction, the samples are unfrozen at room temperature, transfer 0.6 ml of blood into 1.5 ml Eppendorf-type plastic tubes and mix with 0.6 ml of “DNA express-blood” reagent, shaken for 10 seconds, carry out the precipitation of the microdroplets on a microcentrifuge. Next, the samples are placed in a solid-state thermostat at a temperature of +99 °C and incubated for 15 min, centrifuged and carry out the selection of the supernatant containing DNA.
EFFECT: invention allows long-term storage of frozen blood samples and saves time for the DNA extraction procedure.
