FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to experimental medicine, namely to emergency surgery and diagnosis, and can be used to determine the viability of the intestine in laboratory animals in simulating strangulation intestinal obstruction. Microcirculation of the intestinal wall is investigated by the method of laser spectrophotometry. Perfusion indices of the investigated and healthy intestinal wall are determined during strangulation and after elimination thereof. After eliminating strangulation, 0.5 ml of 1 % nicotinic acid solution is injected into the mesentery of the intestinal wall under investigation. 5 minutes after its introduction, the perfusion of the intestinal wall under study is determined. Perfusion indices of the investigated intestinal wall are compared after the introduction of nicotinic acid into the mesentery of intestine thereof and the healthy intestinal wall. Healthy gut is considered viable with indice of perfusion of the investigated intestinal wall restored to the level of the indice of perfusion.
EFFECT: method provides an objective recording of microcirculation changes in the intestinal wall in the experiment with high accuracy and informativeness in real time through the use of laser spectrophotometry.
