FIELD: engine technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems for diagnosing fuel equipment of internal combustion engines (ICE). The low-pressure fuel supply scanner works in conjunction with a computer, with which it exchanges digital information over the radio channel according to the software containing calibration with gasoline, includes a hydraulic measuring unit (HMU) with pressure and flow sensors, means of calculating, graphically displaying, recording, storing and reproducing the current values of fuel pressure and flow in the fuel line of the low-pressure circuit (LPC), the current time and oscillograph charts synchronized in real time with each other and with time markers of failures in the operation of the internal combustion engine. The software contains calibration of diesel fuel consumption and provides manual input of normative, reference or calculated values of the parameters of the LPC. The HMU consists of an independent flow probe and a pressure probe, including, respectively, a flow sensor and a pressure sensor, as well as a flow valve in each probe. A method for diagnosing the LPC of a diesel internal combustion engine is also disclosed.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability of the technical diagnosis.
