FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to valves, in particular to axial flow control valves used in industrial pipe fittings, and is intended to regulate and shut off fluids and liquids. Control valve contains external and internal housings, inlet and outlet nozzles with flanges, a flow divider, and a plunger with a translational drive in the form of a rack mechanism. Flow divider is a cylindrical compression spring, one end resting on an annular cavity located in the zone of the outlet nozzle and the other in an annular cavity in the plunger. In cross-section, the spring wire has a rectangular cross-section, having a protrusion and a hollow of triangular shape from the opposite large lateral sides.
EFFECT: proposed control valve has a relatively simple design and can effectively reduce cavitation.
