SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used to extract a fragment of a manual endodontic instrument from the root canal of a tooth. Device contains a series of neodymium permanent magnets in the handle and the working part with axial magnetization, with a total adhesive force of 60 kg, and the working part is located to the handle at an angle of 45°. Fragments of the instrument are affected by an ultrasonic endodontic file with the creation of a groove around it. Solution of ferrihydrite nanoparticles with adsorbed ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid is introduced into the space between the fragment and the tooth. Magnetization with the end of the working part of the device fragment of the endodontic instrument is carried out. Apply a laser resonant therapeutic low-intensity radiation with a wavelength of 0.85 mcm, a pulse power of 5 W, a pulse repetition rate of 2,000 Hz, a pulse duration of 40 ns, a magnetic induction of at least 50 mT to the root canal of a tooth and fragments, followed by extraction of a fragment from the root canal of a tooth. Exposure is carried out under the control of an operating microscope and radiographs.

EFFECT: device and method provide for the smooth removal of a broken endodontic instrument from the root canal, effective instrumentation, irrigation and obturation of the root canal system.
