Environment determination device includes a determination processor configured to determine the counter environment of the considered vehicle. Definition processor retrieves the plurality of events with which the considered vehicle is traveling along the first route, based on the interconnections between the first route, on which the considered vehicle moves, and the second routes containing road structures having points of intersection with the first route. Definition processor determines the environment using the relationship between each of the extracted events and the vehicle in question.
EFFECT: quick determination of the environment is provided with which the said vehicle is moving along the route.
