SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of assisting in driving and equipment. Method of driving assistance comprises steps of extracting an intersecting line of movement intersecting a planned intended path of movement of the vehicle in question, selecting an intersecting line of motion from among the extracted crossing traffic lines based on the road shape, traffic rules and traffic situation, determining action at driving of considered vehicle in response to other vehicle moving along selected crossing traffic line, and when the traffic light state changes from the passage permission state to the passage prohibition state, the selected crossing traffic line is switched to the non-selected intersecting traffic line by reducing the length of the selected intersecting traffic line. Driving aid equipment comprises a processor configured to determine an action when driving the vehicle in motion along the planned intended track.
