Method of driving assistance comprises steps of extracting an intersecting line of movement intersecting the planned path of movement of the vehicle in question, wherein the crossing traffic line is a path through which another vehicle can travel, determining the required length of the extracted crossing traffic line based on the road shape, traffic rules and traffic situation, searching for another vehicle moving along the crossing traffic line using a range of a certain required length of the crossing traffic line as a search object and determining action at driving of considered vehicle for reaction to other found vehicle. Driving assistance device comprises a processor configured to determine the action of driving the vehicle in motion along the planned track.

EFFECT: higher safety of vehicle driver.
