FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the control of a car engine in order to reduce the number of early ignition events. System for adjusting the ignition and/or fuel injection in the cylinder depending on the late combustion, incomplete combustion or misfire in the adjacent cylinder is proposed, in which the pressure sensor connected to the cylinder exhaust port is used to measure the exhaust pressure pulsations during the exhaust valve response and to accurately estimate the volume of residual gases generated in the cylinder and released from the cylinder, as well as residual gases obtained from the adjacent cylinder. Suppression actions are taken in the cylinder, respectively, before the onset of early ignition.
EFFECT: technical result is to ensure high accuracy in determining the moment and location of the discharge of residual gases, the volume and temperature of hot residual gases, as well as in which of the cylinders residual gases will get.
