FIELD: biotechnology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of biotechnology and can be used to produce recombinant alpha-2,3-and alpha-2,6-sialylated follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH). Method includes the step of producing recombinant FSH in the Per. C6 cell line with endogenous sialyl transferase activity, where the Per. C6 cell line is transfected with a plasmid expressing α- and β-subunits of FSH, and a plasmid expressing α-2,3-sialyl transferase.
EFFECT: invention makes it possible to obtain recombinant FSH, which is close in sialylation profile to human natural FSH.
