FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method and system for layer-by-layer formation of three-dimensional objects from a powder material. Method includes the sequential application of a powdered material and a suitable binder on vertically movable working surface (2). Application is carried out using a device for applying powdery material (1) and a device for applying binder (3). Two application devices (1 and 3) work in two mutually perpendicular directions along two horizontal planes parallel to each other, and working surface (2), performing application in both directions of movement between their end positions. Devices for applying (1 and 3) are moved and the corresponding substance is applied at different optimal speeds depending on the process. This method and system has a wide range of applications in the foundry industry to create solid sand molds and/or high-precision cores directly from a three-dimensional computer model.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to reduce the time required to create casting molds and improve accuracy, as well as creating a more complex shape without the need for a physical model.
