SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the encoding and/or decoding of video signals. Options for implementation are proposed therefor. Specific method includes the steps of accessing a video image that includes a plurality of images combined into one image, accessing information indicating how to combine a plurality of images into a video image being accessed, decoding the video to provide a decoded representation of at least one of the plurality of images and providing the information to be accessed as well as the decoded video as output.
EFFECT: technical result is access to the video image, which includes a plurality of images combined into one image.
