FIELD: data processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means of encoding and decoding a video signal. Accessing a video image in a bit stream, which includes a plurality of images combined into a single image, wherein said plurality of images includes a first image from a first view and a second image from a second view. Method includes accessing information in a bit stream indicating how a plurality of images are combined in a video image accessed, said information indicating whether at least one of the images is separately reflected. Video image is decoded into decoded versions of said first image and said second image based on extracted from bit stream information on mirror reflection, which is accessed.
EFFECT: technical result is improvement of video signal encoding efficiency.
