FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a single-step method of producing aromatic polyesters by a nucleophilic substitution reaction involving reaction of 0.056–0.063 mol 4,4'-dichlorodiphenylsulphone, 90 ml of dimethylsulphoxide, 0.0024 mol of aluminum oxide catalyst, 0.087 mole of an alkaline potassium carbonate agent, characterized by that additionally comprises adding 0.034–0.052 mol 4,4'-dihydroxydiphenyl, 0.017–0.034 mol of phenolphthalein, 0.007–0.014 mol 4,4'-difluorodiphenyl ketone, 0.0024 mol of sodium sulphate, 30 ml of azeotrope-agent of toluene, 0.0052 mol of tetrabutylammonium bromide.
EFFECT: simple process flow for producing a polymer material, obtaining aromatic polyesters with high glass transition temperature, improved melt flow index and viscosity of the polymer material, as well as those which are stable during processing.
