FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition, specifically to armor-piercing active-jet projectiles. Proposed device comprises firing element including core and case, hypersonic ramjet engine HSRE. Said engine is made with housing and combustion chamber. There is an air intake device, a driving device made with possibility of separation from the shell, empennage. Body of the fighting element between the driving device and empennage has a thickening equipped with projections. HSRE fuel element is composed of two coaxial cylinders. HSRE housing is equipped with external coaxial shell retained by drive device in initial position and made with possibility of backward movement along flight, fixation in extended position relative to HSRE and formation of jet nozzle between its inner surface and shell surface of firing element. Missile includes additional fuel element equipped with at least one channel filled with igniting composition, which end sections are inclined to the internal surface of the housing of the HSRE, which provides gas-dynamic communication of the channel with the combustion chamber of the HSRE, and are directed against rotation of the shell in flight.
EFFECT: high efficiency of armor penetration with simultaneous increase of firing accuracy.
