FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and aims at predicting the clinical course of laparotomy wound repair in mechanical jaundice of non-tumor origin. Immediately after the operation and two days later, the patient is examined for peripheral blood indices to assess the degree of hepatic functional disorder by total bilirubin level, total and effective albumin concentration, and activity of oxidative stress by malonic dialdehyde level. A laparotomy wound healing process predictive index (HPPI) is calculated by formula
EFFECT: using the invention enables providing more accurate prediction of clinical course of the laparotomic wound healing in mechanical jaundice of non-tumor origin.
