METHOD FOR PREDICTING THE CLINICAL COURSE OF THE LAPAROTOMIC WOUND HEALING IN MECHANICAL JAUNDICE OF NON-TUMOR ORIGIN Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC G01N33/49 G01N33/50 G01N33/68 G01N33/72

Abstract RU 2685717 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to surgery, and aims at predicting the clinical course of laparotomy wound repair in mechanical jaundice of non-tumor origin. Immediately after the operation and two days later, the patient is examined for peripheral blood indices to assess the degree of hepatic functional disorder by total bilirubin level, total and effective albumin concentration, and activity of oxidative stress by malonic dialdehyde level. A laparotomy wound healing process predictive index (HPPI) is calculated by formula , where TACn – total blood albumin concentration normal, TAC1 – total blood albumin concentration after operation, TAC2 – total albumin concentration in blood two days after operation, EACn – effective blood albumen concentration in norm, EAC1 Is the postoperative blood plasma albumin concentration, EAC2 – effective albumin concentration in blood two days after operation, TBn – level of total blood bilirubin in norm, TB1 – level of total bilirubin in blood after operation, TB2 – level of total bilirubin in blood two days after operation, MDAn – level of malonic dialdehyde in blood normal, MDA1 – level of malone dialdehyde in blood after operation, MDA2 – level of malondialdehyde in blood two days after operation. A HPPI value greater than 17.1 indicates a low degree of probability of a disruption of the process of healing of the postoperative wound. A HPPI value of 13.1 to 17.0 indicates an average degree of probability of a disruption of the process of healing of the postoperative wound. A HPPI value of less than 13.0 indicates a high degree of probability of a disruption of the process of healing of the postoperative wound.

EFFECT: using the invention enables providing more accurate prediction of clinical course of the laparotomic wound healing in mechanical jaundice of non-tumor origin.
