METHODS FOR BAROTHERMAL TREATMENT OF FEEDSTUFFS IN A FLUIDIZED BED Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A23N17/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, namely to methods for barothermal treatment of crumbled feedstuffs. Method comprises phased additions of feedstuffs, additives, water, steam, conditioning, mixing, constant movement, formation of the discharge stream and forced removal thereof. Mixing and formation of the discharge stream are carried out in the fluidization zone located between the loading and unloading zones, with the preparation of a homogeneous mixture of a fluidized bed of a two-phase flow of solid feedstuff particles, additives and superheated steam fed to the lower part of the reactor vessel, which is also filled with feedstuff and additives. Resultant mixture is scooped by buckets, mounted on rotating rectangular frames symmetrically fixed on the shaft of the working element, the upper part of the reactor vessel is lifted and scattered fanwise downward. Mixture is moved continuously along the helical line throughout the volume of the fluidization zone. Barothermal treatment is carried out at a temperature of 300–374 °C, pressure of 15–20 MPa, exposure of 30–60 seconds.

EFFECT: use of the invention will allow simultaneous and uniform heating of the processed feedstuffs in all points of the reactor vessel, reducing the heating time, improving the treatment quality and reducing the specific energy consumption.
