SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to medicine and concerns a method for determining a characteristic of an antibody and complement profile, involving providing a sample containing at least one immunoglobulin and a native immunoglobulin-C1q complex; providing a surface for analysis containing a coating of food antigens, wherein said food antigen coating contains a first food antigen, a second food antigen and a third food antigen which have been applied on said surface for analysis successively; contacting said surface for analysis with at least part of said sample; contacting said surface for analysis with a mixture of antibodies, wherein said antibody mixture comprises a first antibody directed to C1q, and a second antibody directed to at least one of at least one type of immunoglobulins in said sample; and obtaining a signal characterizing binding and at least one immunoglobulin and native immunoglobulin-C1q complex from said sample with said surface for analysis, wherein signal intensity exceeding the background threshold is characterized as a positive result. Group of inventions also relates to a method for determining a characteristic of the antibody and complement profile, including providing a second surface for analysis containing a second coating of food antigens.
EFFECT: group of inventions provides higher sensitivity and accuracy of analysis for presence of food allergy.
