FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy. Installation for centrifugal casting two-ridge strip profile comprises centrifugal casting machine and, at least, one preparatory bench. Centrifugal casting machine comprises a frame and at least one tubular crystallizer with a horizontal axis of rotation. Inner cylindrical cavity of crystallizer is formed by casting molds in the form of longitudinal channels with variable transverse depth. Tubular crystallizer is made as assembled of casings of casting molds in the form of closed chain interconnected by hinges. Proposed test bench comprises rolling table for layout of said chain, rolling table for two-ridge profile harvesting, hydraulic extractor of two-ridge profile from casting mold, robotic unit for cleaning and application of non-stick coating on working surface of casting molds. Closed chain of casings of casting molds is installed on bearing frame of crystallizer by means of retractable retainers with possibility of its mechanized opening, dismantling and laying on preparatory bench.

EFFECT: higher efficiency of installation and quality of cast billets.
