FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat treatment, namely to annealing of alloys of Al-Si-Ge system with high content of germanium, more than 13 %, for obtaining by further machining of workpieces of complex shape. Method consists in fact that alloy is heated to temperature in range of 370 °C±10 °C, holding at heating temperature for 10–15 minutes, cooling in air to room temperature, and after cooling in air to room temperature alloy is held for at least 30 minutes at room temperature before subsequent machining.
EFFECT: increased plasticity of alloy of Al-Si-Ge system with high content of germanium.
