FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to biotechnology and virology. Invention discloses a method for determining specific activity of an antirabic immunoglobulin. Substance of the method consists in interaction of Moscow 3253, an attenuated strain of rabies virus with analysed samples of anti-rabies immunoglobulin. Then said reaction mixture is incubated for 1 hour at 37 °C is added to the cellular monolayer formed on the cover glasses, and placed in CO2-incubator. After 24 hours, the specific activity of the anti-rabies immunoglobulin is determined by changing the surface roughness measured by atomic force microscopy. Titre of virus neutralizing antibodies is such dilution, wherein cell growth of cell surface roughness is inhibited by 50 %.

EFFECT: use of the invention enables short-term high-accuracy determination of specific activity of anti-rabies immunoglobulin on a cell culture without using diagnostic agents.
