FIELD: vehicle equipment and accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to safety of passengers of vehicles and, in particular, to designs of seats for passengers, designed to reduce injuries caused by collision of vehicles, and to facilitate exit of passengers. Vehicle armrest assembly comprises an armrest, a spring located in the mounting recess and an attachment pin. An armrest has a mounting recess on the outer side of the armrest. Attachment pin is made with possibility of attachment of armrest and spring to seat back by means of mounting recess. At that, the attachment pin has a rod passing through the spring opening. At that, the armrest is configured to respond to force directed outward by non-destructive movement outward from standard position and return to standard position at termination of this force.
EFFECT: increased safety.
