FIELD: smoking accessories.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrically heated smoking systems and to a method of directing air flow inside an electrically heated smoking system. Disclosed is a system for separate supply of air flow for electrically heated smoking system for generating aerosol, wherein the air flow separate supply system comprises a downstream end, the air flow supply system comprising a first channel defining the first flow path; a second channel defining a second flow path; wherein first flow path directs ambient air from outside of system to downstream end of system; wherein the second flow path directs ambient air from the outside of the system to a substantially flat, fluid-permeable heating element before transmitting ambient air to the downstream end of the system, wherein first channel and second channel determine total volume of ambient air passing through system, and first channel provides at least 50 percent of total volume of ambient air passing through system, wherein at least part of second channel and heating element are located perpendicular to each other so that at least part of second channel directs ambient air for perpendicular collision with heating element, and wherein at least part of the second channel located downstream of the substantially flat fluid-permeable heating element is located on the circumference of the substantially flat fluid-permeable heating element for guiding, thus, the ambient air containing the aerosol from the central part of the substantially flat fluid-permeable heating element radially outward towards the circumference of the substantially flat fluid-permeable heating element to at least part of second channel located on circle of substantially flat fluid-permeable heating element.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is higher efficiency of electrically heated smoking system.
