FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of reducing amount of aerosol particles. Method of reducing content of aerosol particles contained in furnace gases released during combustion processes, comprising: passing said flue gases through a reactor, in which said gases are brought into direct contact with a water-miscible liquid polyatomic alcohol or with a mixture of said polyatomic alcohol and water, passing said flue gases leaving said reactor, through fog separator before introduction of said flue gases into additional reactor, passing said flue gases through said additional reactor, in which said flue gases are brought into direct contact with water.
EFFECT: reduced amount of aerosol particles.
