FIELD: biotechnology; veterinary science.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to veterinary biotechnology. Disclosed is an expression cassette of recombinant DNA containing an early mouse cytomegalovirus (IE1 mCMV) 1 promoter, gene of viral protein 2 (VP2) of infectious bursitis virus (IBDV), a transcription terminator, an early human cytomegalovirus gene (IE1 hCMV) promoter, a fusion protein gene (F) of the Newcastle disease virus (NDV). Disclosed is a recombinant DNA molecule for expressing a VP2 gene of IBDV and a gene F NDV containing said expression cassette. Disclosed is a recombinant turkey herpes virus (HVT) for expressing the VP2 gene of IBDV and the F NDV gene containing said expression cassette inserted into the US region of the recombinant HVT genome. Disclosed is a host cell for vaccination of poultry of IVDB and NDV containing said recombinant HVT. Disclosed is a method of constructing said recombinant HVT using said expression cassette. Disclosed is a vaccine for poultry vaccination against IBDV and NDV containing said recombinant HVT and/or said host cell and a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier. Disclosed is a method of producing said vaccine using said recombinant HVT. Disclosed is using said expression cassette, recombinant DNA molecules, recombinant HVT, host cell or any combination thereof to produce a vaccine for poultry vaccination against IBDV and NDV. Disclosed is a method for preventing or reducing the infection of IBDV and NDV or associated symptoms of the disease involving administering said vaccine to poultry. Disclosed is a method for vaccinating poultry against IBDV and NDV using said vaccine.
EFFECT: group of inventions enables to obtain a vaccine based on the HVT vector, which provides effective poultry immunization against ND and IBD and which has improved genetic stability compared to prior art designs.
