SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in vehicle internal combustion engines. Method of turning the body of the particulate filter consists in closing the gap between the spatially separated upstream outlet channel and the downstream outlet channel by means of the particulate filter. Particulate filter body is turned around displacement of the axis from the central axis of the particulate filter to transfer the particulate filter between the first position and the second position in response to the determination that the operator is outside the vehicle containing the particulate filter. Method includes a step of determining that the operator is outside the vehicle. Versions of the method for turning the body of the particulate filter are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of waste gas back pressure.
