FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine. Device for ablating target tissues of a patient comprises: a catheter body comprising a proximal end and a terminal distal end; an elliptical ring connected to a terminal distal end of the catheter body, having a major axis and a minor axis, wherein minor axis divides elliptical ring into first part and second part, wherein first part covers top of major axis; and a plurality of electrodes supported by an elliptical ring. Number of electrodes supported by the first part of the elliptic ring exceeds the number of electrodes supported by the second part of the elliptic ring, and at least one electrode from the plurality of electrodes is located on the top of the major axis.
EFFECT: use of this invention will allow improving ablation accuracy.
