FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electric engineering, namely to the fuel elements system, which contains the compressor drive motor, which supplies air to the fuel element, a compressor assisting turbine, a bypass valve which opens and closes the bypass flow path, and a controller. When the required air flow rate is equal to or exceeds the threshold value, the controller closes the bypass valve and controls the electric motor to force the air to pass through the fuel element with flow rate corresponding to the required flow rate. When the required air flow is below the threshold value, the controller opens the bypass valve so that air passes through the bypass flow path, and controls the electric motor to cause passage of air through the fuel element with flow rate corresponding to the required air flow rate.

EFFECT: elimination of pressure drop at open and closed bypass valve, as well as increase of fuel efficiency of fuel elements system.
