FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy and can be used in production of mineral binder and can be used for hardware design of various technological processes. Roller-chamber has housing in the form of hollow roller with symmetric cylindrical-conical surface with large diameter in central zone along its length. Inner working surface of housing is lined. Roller is rotatable about the horizontal axis. On both sides there are introduced into it non-rotating inserts, in which supply channels are formed, which provide supply of materials and gas mixtures into the chamber, and a discharge channel, through which the formed dust and gas mixture is removed from the chamber. Each insert is installed with formation of slot between internal surface of housing and external surface of insert. Inserts are made with the possibility of their removal from the chamber, and in places of contact of the inserts with the rotating housing the sealing cups are installed.

EFFECT: invention allows creating a universal chamber for thermochemical processes related to production of cast iron, steel, non-ferrous metals and mineral binding substances.
