SUBSTANCE: method for protecting apple fruits from subcutaneous blotch involvement during storage under controlled atmosphere conditions in combination with postharvest treatment with an ethylene biosynthesis inhibitor – 1-MCP, preparation "Phytomag" includes fast chamber loading – no more than 2 days, withdrawal to storage mode with low content of carbon dioxide – less than 0.1 % during 2 days and its maintenance throughout the storage period.
EFFECT: invention provides for more effective storage of apple fruits.
