SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a modified microorganism of Escherichia genus, which produces L-tryptophan, where activity of phosphatase containing amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, is inactivated. Disclosed is a method of producing L-tryptophan using said modified microorganism.
EFFECT: group of inventions increases productivity of L-tryptophan in a modified microorganism compared to a parent non-modified microorganism.
