FIELD: biotechnologies.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biotechnology. Described is a microorganism of genus Escherichia, having improved ability to produce L-tryptophan in comparison with unmodified microorganism, where activity of phosphatase containing amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, modified with inactivation to maintain intracellular concentration of E4P (erythrosis-4-phosphate). Invention also relates to a method of producing L-tryptophan using said microorganism. In addition, the invention also relates to a method of inhibiting destruction of intracellular E4P microorganisms of genus Escherichia, involving inactivation of phosphatase activity containing amino acid sequence SEQ ID NO: 1, in microorganism of genus Escherichia.
EFFECT: invention extends the range of products for producing L-tryptophan.
