METHOD OF POSTOPERATIVE WOUND REPAIR WITH LOCAL TISSUES AFTER VULVECTOMY IN PATIENTS WITH ACCOMPANYING PATHOLOGY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/42

Abstract RU 2693113 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to gynecology and oncology. Wound defect is closed from the area of posterior soldering by sequential stitching of the skin of the perianal region with the posterior wall of the vagina with caprone thread. Further, skin in right and left medial edge of postoperative wound is sutured with vaginal side walls to clitoris level. Remained wound defect is closed as follows: the central anterior edge of the postoperative wound within the pubic symphysis is sutured together with the right and left medial skin edges to form a Y-shaped postoperative wound. Remaining edges of the wound in the anterior part are sutured together by caprone thread. Right and left medial edges of skin are sutured together to fix 2-3 caprone sutures to periosteum and clitoris. That is followed by longitudinal incisions of skin and subcutaneous fat, one on each side, 4 cm in the area of the medial thigh, extending from the edge of wound 5 cm in the lateral direction, with cross-linking with caprone thread, wherein the front edge is connected to the posterior edge of the postoperative wound.

EFFECT: method enables avoiding divergence of wound edges, improves healing of the postoperative wound, reduces operation time, as well as reducing number of complications in early postoperative period, which improves postoperative rehabilitation of patients and reduces length of hospital stay in hospital.
