FIELD: optics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to optical sensors which determine molecular composition of a substance by giant Raman scattering of light. Sensor element for selective amplification of the signal of giant Raman scattering of light from analyzed substances consists of a mirror metal film, a nanostructured dielectric layer, metal nanoparticles located on the surface of the dielectric layer.
EFFECT: invention further enhances the signal of giant Raman scattering from an arbitrary number of selected spectral lines of Raman scattering of the analyzed substance, which increases selectivity and sensitivity of optical sensors based on the effect of giant Raman scattering.
