FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment and can be used in transport during operation of vehicles. Method consists in the fact that an onboard software and hardware system is pre-installed on the vehicle. Duration of the control cycle is set, it is divided into short periods, and ranges of possible change of parameters of operation mode and conditions of vehicle operation – at narrow intervals. Preliminary using the software and hardware system in automatic mode, recording in each period of monitoring indicators of operating conditions, operating conditions, operating hours and fuel consumption vehicle controlled by the "reference" driver. For each combination of intervals, which belong to operating conditions and operating conditions, separately calculating interval rate of specific fuel consumption, and in the process of application of the obtained packet of interval norms, recording in each control period indicators of operation mode, operating conditions and actual operating time of the vehicle. Norm of specific fuel consumption is calculated after completion of control cycle as sum of products of each of interval norms for actual operating time for corresponding combination of intervals of parameters of conditions and operating mode within control cycle, related to actual operating time for control cycle.

EFFECT: possibility of automatic generation of consumption rates adequate for varying operating conditions and modes of operation of vehicle based on results of preliminary automatic monitoring of operating time and fuel consumption.
