SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol generating device with electric heating, such as a smoking device. Aerosol-generating device with electric heating comprises an outer housing having a cavity for receiving an aerosol-forming substrate; an electric heater comprising at least one heating element for heating the aerosol-generating substrate in said cavity to form an aerosol; at least one inlet air hole; at least one outlet air hole; air passage extending from said at least one inlet air outlet through said cavity to said at least one outlet air opening; means for determining dragging resistance of said air path; and means for automatic control of drag of said air path depending on defined resistance to inhaling.

EFFECT: technical result is reduced instability of resistance to inhaling of aerosol generating device both during separate use, and between sessions of use.
