FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions refers to veterinary science, and can be used to produce a liquid stable vaccine containing live porcine virus. Liquid stable vaccine contains live attenuated porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome (PRRS), 10–30 % (wt/vol) of sugar alcohol and 0.15–0.75 M of amino acid selected from a group consisting of arginine, glutamic acid and glycine; where liquid stable vaccine has pH 6.0–8.0. Group of inventions relates to a method for preparing the vaccine, as well as a method for protecting a pig against PRRS by administering a vaccine.
EFFECT: use of this group of inventions enables to obtain a liquid stable porcine virus vaccine PRRS, which can be stored in liquid form at low temperatures and remain stable for a long period of time.
