FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines equipped with exhaust gas recirculation systems. Method for the engine consists in the fact that the gas distribution phases of the first group of exhaust valves (6) of the cylinders are adjusted to control the flow of exhaust gases from the engine cylinders to the area in intake channel (28) upstream of compressor (162) along the waste recirculation line (50) gases (EGR). Opening of the first group of exhaust valves (6) of cylinders takes place at a moment different from the moment of opening of the second group of outlet valves (8) connected to outlet channel (74). Gas distribution phases of the first group of exhaust valves (6) of cylinders are controlled in accordance with the state of compressor (162), which includes formation of condensate in compressor (162), and/or temperature at inlet of compressor (162) below lower threshold temperature, and/or compressor outlet temperature (162) is higher than upper threshold temperature, and/or compressor rpm (162) is above threshold value. Embodiments of the method for the engine and system for the engine are disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of homogeneity of EGR flow, at which injection of fixed amount of EGR into injection channel in every engine operating cycle is performed.
