RETRACTOR FOR SPINE SURGERY Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A61B17/02

Abstract RU 2698297 C1

FIELD: medical equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, particularly to surgery, and can be used as a retractor for backbone surgery in posterior approach, namely cervical, thoracic and lumbar spine. Reduced time of operation. Position of the central clamps can vary during the operation. Achieving the technical result is possible when using the retractor for operating on the spine, comprising a rack with fixed and movable branches installed parallel to each other, each of which is connected by means of hinged fixation unit with holder of detachable grippers, made in the form of hooks with teeth oriented at an angle. Detachable grips are made in the form of peripheral two-tooth grips, in the center of which there is a central single-tooth or two-tooth gripper, base of which is made with toothed slots, holder of detachable grips includes system of fixation and release of peripheral grippers and central grips position and fixation system, at that peripheral grips fixation and release system consists of two spring pushers connected to ejecting strip, and two spring-loaded elements for fixation of guide pins installed on the peripheral two-tooth grip base, and the central grips position and fixation system is configured to freely move the central grippers perpendicular to the axis of the branch and to be fixed in the holder by means of the holder of the central grips.

EFFECT: technical result consists in facilitating access to organs by opening wound edges and holding them in a certain position without using the hands of the surgeon and his assistant, enlarging the volume of the operating space, increasing the angle of surgical action and controlling the depth of the surgical wound, creating the possibility of free manipulation in the cavity, as well as reliable fixation of the organ tissue.
