FIELD: aerosol-generating articles.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to an aerosol-generating article and an aerosol-generating system adapted to produce an inhaled aerosol when heated. Aerosol-generating article comprises an aerosol-generating substrate, a downstream section extending from the downstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to the downstream end of the aerosol-generating article, and an upstream section extending from the upstream end of the aerosol-generating substrate to the upstream end of the aerosol-generating article. At the same time the ratio of resistance to draw of the section located upstream to the resistance to draw of the section located further downstream is more than 1. Resistance to draw of the upstream section is not more than 150 mm H2O. An aerosol-generating article is used in an aerosol-generating system comprising an aerosol-generating device having a heater.
EFFECT: obtaining a product with improved practicality and more environmentally friendly with satisfactory low variability of resistance to draw (RTD).
