FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the mining and metallurgical equipment parts working surfaces surfacing, which are subject to increased requirements for hardness and wear resistance. Pre-heated fused billet to temperature higher than temperature of martensitic transformation beginning by 50–100 °C, build-up of layers and cooling of deposited layer before application of next layer. After each deposition layer is applied, curing is performed for the time required to form 10–30 % of martensite with simultaneous reduction of preheated pre-cast heating temperature by 20–100 °C is lower than temperature of martensitic transformation. Immediately after deposition of the last layer, high-temperature tempering is carried out on the surfacing plant at a temperature between the recrystallisation temperature of the base metal and the tempering temperature of the deposited metal.
EFFECT: technical result consists in prevention of formation of cracks in surfacing, improved mechanical properties of the weld metal, in particular wear resistance and hardness, as well as high efficiency of building up welding due to failure of additional heat treatment.
