FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and can be used for diagnosing early horse pregnancy. Blood sample in a temperature-controlled cell is exposed to a standing amplitude-modulated ultrasonic wave at a generation frequency of 0.88 MHz, intensity of 0.05 W/cm2 and modulation frequency from range of 10–20 Hz. Exposure is 15–20 s. Morphological state of cells is analyzed by light microscopy. Presence of pregnancy is diagnosed in leukocyte aggregation with no evidence of lysis and cell destruction of erythrocytes.
EFFECT: method provides reduced time of pregnancy diagnosis ensured by ultrasonic exposure on mares' blood cells.
